The switcheroo is a simulation where people experience an accurate simulation of living as a different person for a month, however the simulation itself would only take 1 hour in the real world. The race, class, sexuality, profession of your life in the simulation would be randomized.

When the reasons for and against believing something or making a change are roughly equal, two opposing approaches exist.

The conservative epistemic approach holds that we should keep our current beliefs or practices unless we have strong reasons to change them. In contrast, the progressive epistemic approach argues that we should change our beliefs or practices unless we have strong reasons to keep them the same.

For the purpose of clarity, the two approaches are not necessarily tied to their political counterparts.

Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) describes a hypothetical type of AI that would have cognitive abilities on par or beyond that of human cognitive abilities.

Unlike narrow AI, which is fed on data and then able to reproduce knowledge and execute simple to somewhat complex tasks, an AGI would be capable of understanding, learning, and applying intelligence across a wide range of different tasks, even those it has not been specifically trained for. AGI would be able to solve complex problems, plan, reason, and adapt to new environments independently, much like a human being.

For example, an AGI could potentially excel at language, provide medical diagnoses, create knowledge and art and learn entirely new skills without being explicitly programmed for each task.

In comparison to traditional activism which prioritises policy change and institutional reform, “symbolic politics” involves taking symbolic control over public spaces by disrupting the local order. This is done through the use of symbols, rituals and narratives and is less centred on conveying information. Rather, the activists' purpose is to influence public opinion by putting together an emotionally compelling performance. Examples include the choreography "A Rapist in Your Path" against sexual violence in Latin America, the transnational movement FEMEN who use nudity to protest and paint slogans on the activists' bodies, etc

In Denmark, only unionized workers (members of syndicates) benefit from negotiated wages, benefits, and working conditions. Gender mainstreaming refers to integrating gender and feminism throughout the academic curriculum and across disciplines.This is in constrast to having separate gender and feminist courses and academic institutes.
